Here we are. Married and happier than ever. 

Now its blog time cause its what married people do right? 

These past couple of months have been pretty exciting. 

On August 11, 2012 we sealed the deal in the San Diego temple.
Best. Day. Ever.

We were then off to Hawaii. It was the best vacation by far. 

We love exploring together and everyday was a new adventure. I loved being in Hawaii on an island, going on adventures. Just Trevor and I.

One.

   8 mile hike in 3 hours. Yes, we ran. And yes I sprained my ankle right when we got to the waterfall. We still had to go all the way back. This is where i had to impress my new husband and suck it up and run all the way back. But we made it.

Two. 

We went snorkeling on a little beach called tunnels. We saw three sea turtles. Trevor really wanted to touch them, but i told him there is a big fat fine if they see you touching the turtles. Apparently that dream was shattered. For some reason, I am obsessed with turtles, any kind. My favorite thing the little turtles did was stick their head up for air. It was the cutest. Trev thought I looked hilarious in my snorkel mask so he took a picture. Adorable right? On our way home, we decided that we were going to make a pit stop at Queens Bath. It was fun, but scary. Hence the high tide. Trevor thought that it would be fun to cliff jump. We what he didn't realize was that there was a sea turtle right below him, so when he jumped, he scared the turtle away.

Three.

Onto another adventure Wiamea canyon, but first we had to stop and get shaved ice. Its crucial if you're in Hawaii right? Anyways back to the Canyon, the view was amazing. And it is also the wettest place on earth!

Four.

 We then headed to a beach that we had no idea looked the way it did. It was a beach that was about nine miles long, then all of a sudden stopped and there was the Na Pali coast cliffs. I've never seen anything like it.

Five.  

We went to secret beaches. Or so we thought we were going to be the only ones there. Wrong, there was a seal, just chilling on the beach. 

Six.

We went zip lining. Probably my favorite activity that we did. So thrilling. And at the end, we even got to go swim in an old volcano hole (Enter a fist pump).

Seven.

On one of the last days, we realized that we hadn't seen any sunsets because we were so busy with all of our day activities we never made it back to the hotel in time. So husband tried to chase the sun in our little convertible. Fine by me as long as the top was down. We made it just in time. The sun setting wasn't the intersting part of this adventure. The interesting part was that there were naked, yes i repeat NAKED women on the beach. Lets just say these women were in their mid forties, and they thought it was hilarious running and jumping around. NUDE. Oh and we weren't the only ones on the beach. Dont worry, they came up to us and asked if they could take a picture of us, as I was carving our names in the sand, just minding my own business. Lets just say that I have erased the memory from my mind.

As one of our wedding gifts, we got a guide book to Kauai. We used it everywhere we went. It even showed us the  "King Kong" rock. I tried really hard to get a picture as we were driving.

Eight.

Hawaii time was over, and now it was time to go to Lake Powell with my family. To put it shortly, we missed our flight and had to spend the night in the airport. Despite our sometimes shaky travel record, this time wasn't our fault. It was the airlines'. Promise. Trevor still has to write a complaint to them. Still mad about it. The greatest thing about it all was that at four in the morning after we had been kicked out of our sleeping benches, we just started laughing, and moved to a new bench. And kept each other warm by public spooning until our flight left.
